10 Video Picks ... Watch 'Em and Tweet

1. This goes back to 2010, but a finals game between Spain-Portugal is like aged wine, live or in retrospect. Excellent quality with the camera work, sound and production.

Diego Zuniga pulls a "rabona" out of his hat in this highlight.

2. It's true that Diego Zuniga, a Costa Rican futsaler, lights up the arena with this "rabona golazo" against Brazil. We knew what a golazo (or golaso) was, but this rabona thing was new to us. At any rate, nice goal fella, but check the score.

3. The person who posted and commented on this video certainly had it right: futsal’s a game where individual skill is both necessary and encouraged, but without strong team play it can all go for naught. A lot of work went into editing these combination highlights from different Euro Championship games.

4. This 20-year retrospective recalls the 1982 futsal world championships before the FIFA Futsal World Cup even existed. You'll notice some differences -- referees on the line carry flags, wear snazzy white pants and come onto court to set up free kicks. Throw-ins are used as restarts and slide tackling seems to be just about anything goes. One thing's the same ... the speed of play and a big crowd for the Brazil-Paraguay final. If you speak Portuguese, you'll have an advantage with the interview sections on this one.

5. Nice video presentation of the 2012 World University Futsal Championships in Braga, Portugal, including highlights. Why couldn't the U.S. and Canadian colleges participate some day? Canada already has a number of college futsal teams; the U.S. should follow suit.

6. Spain, futsal; futsal, Spain. Almost synonyms, right? Kind of like Brazil, futsal; futsal, Brazil. This is the 2012 Super Copa semifinal between ElPozo Murcia vs FC Barcelona Alusport.

7. Here's the second semifinal: Santiago Futsal vs. Inter Movistar.

8. And the winners are ... (drum roll, please) ... Inter Movistar y ElPozo Murcia; The final de la XXIII Supercopa FĂștbol Sala goes to PKs.

9. This is a first-leg final from the Brazilian league in which Falcao's team, ADC Intelli/Orlandi,a defeated Corinthians 2-1. Oh yes, Falcao scored on a penalty kick.

Falcao didn't score spectacularly, but netted a tap in and set up another goal.

10. And then this one, the second leg, in which the Falcaonians win 3-2. Some interesting stuff here and several morals to the story: a) Don't foul Falcao and give away free kicks in your own end; b) Don't lose the first leg and be forced to pull your goalie late in the second leg. Goal of the game: Lukanian from an impossible angle on the business end of futsal long ball. Celebration of the game: Lukanian's backside bunny hop. Simple move of the game: On the second goal, the Intelli/Orlandi attacker executes a simple roll followed by an outside-of-the-foot pass to set up Falcao.
