Six pack of videos: enough to make your blood boil

1. Highlight review of European Cup Championship courtesy of UEFA. Kairat Almaty became the first Kazakhstani team to claim a UEFA title with their triumph in Tbilisi – and did it the hard way with thrilling wins against FC Barcelona and MFK Dinamo.

2. Sometimes the game seems deceptively simple: check back for the ball, stay wide, find the target player, make a run off the ball. Simple, right? On some level, we suppose so. But these players and teams make it look easier than it is.

Jé, a player for Orlândia, scores on a scissored volley.
3. Golaso, Golaso, Golaso. Just another highlight from Brazil, right? Well, maybe. Jé, a player for Orlândia, takes a beautifully placed chipped cross out of the air from the corner and performs some Brazilian magic. The celebration is stylish of course ... a little Brazilian fast-step dance (we see that here in MLS, don't we) ... but also an NFL-style end zone chest bump. More proof we live in a global society.

Jordi Torras of FC Barcelona Alusport scored the only goal in game one.
4. Jordi Torras scored the only goal in FC Barcelona Alusport’s 2013 Liga playoff matchup with El Pozo Murcia, but you’d never know it was a low-scoring game by the announcer’s fever-pitch commentary.  El Pozo had a chance to tie with a penalty kick, but Barcelona’s keeper came up with a stomach save – that’s right – to preserve the win in game one.

5. Game three in the series produced a torrent of goals and drama. FC Barcelona Alusport pulled ahead 4-0 before El Poza Murcia began to chip away, scoring its first goal on a chipped corner kick and first time volley to make it 4-1. Murcia eventually got within 4-3 by using its goalie as a fifth attacker, but Barcelona’s final pair of scores came with the goalie in the offensive half.

6. A professionally produced video by FIFA-TV takes a look
back at the 2012 Futsal World Cup, interspersing game highlights, background on qualifying teams whose stories were compelling and interviews with key individuals, including Falcao (part 1 of a two-part series).
