This is the first mention of futsal we’ve come across from
Robb Heineman, one of the visionary owners of Sporting Kansas City of Major
League Soccer. Heineman mentions
“the futsal component,” noting its long-term
benefits for the development of American players, in reference to a proposed
National Training and Coaching Development Center in Kansas City, Kan.
